DC Water's Employee Appreciation Day

Today Arnold, Nina-Skye & I ventured out to Six Flags America in Maryland for DC Water's Employee Appreciation Day. It was a nice change from the normal Cook-Out's in the Park. We had lunch and ice cream before going out & having fun in the amusement park. Here we are with my great Boss, Mr. Benson!

I've never seen a child CRY to leave an Amusement Park until this day...Nina-Skye was SO TIRED and her feet hurt so bad that she CRIED to leave and Arnold being the great Dad that he is carried her out of the Park...

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Getting some Birthday Love from Nina-Skye & Arnold...even though he had a LONG flight back from Utah, Arnold insisted that we go out to dinner for my 45th Birthday! Isn't he the sweetest?

Arnold took me to my favorite little restaurant on Barrack's Row, Starfish Cafe! And here are our delicious entree's. I got the Lobster Macaroni & Cheese with sauteed veggies:

Oops...well I finally found the pictures from Nina-Skye's Friday from her first week of the new school year and here she is all smiles on the way into school.

Nina-Skye in class with her buddy, Quinn: Then after school, I picked up Nina-Skye & Lucy, so they could have a play date and because Lucy's Mom picked-up Nina-Skye for me on Wednesday evening. Yay...for Teamwork!

The First Week of the 2010-2011 School Year

Today was the first day of the new school year and Nina-Skye was excited...well once she got their she was excited! I even let her pick out her own outfit for the day! I took pictures most of the days of this week to share and somehow I missed Thursday...but any way here we go...I'm quite sure the reason she got excited once we arrived at Ms. Murphy's class was because of these TWO lovable faces below...Quinn & Laila!

"Thanks" to Auntie Debbie for the adorable outfit today! Nina-Skye was ecstatic to wear this set today and she told me I was the "BEST" Mommy in the world for letting her wear it...ah...be still my heart...LOL!

It was a tough week, due to Arnold being away at Utah for business! But BLESS the Lord, we made it through and most importantly Nina-Skye had a GREAT first week back to school!

A Rainy Day at Hershey Park

On this dreary Sunday, we took a Bus Trip to Hershey Park with Charlie, Frankie, Joshua and Jeremy. Even though it was rainy and cool, Nina-Skye, Joshua & Jeremy had a great time. Here's Jeremy and Nina-Skye, partners in crime...on a few rides at the park...

The Adventures of Uncle Rabbit "Play" Date with Diya

Today Nina-Skye and I had a "Play Date" (literally) with her class mate Diya and her Mom, Malini. We adventured to Classika Theater to see the Kid's Production

"The Adventures of Uncle Rabbit." The girls had a ball at the play and then we had lunch at the cute little Mexican Restaurant, Guapo's. Here are our two little Cutie Pies taking a moment for a picture...
