Coolin' with my Cousin's

For the Memorial Day Holiday, cousins Jamila & Sharrod {Thanks Ya'll} hosted a Cook-Out at their home. So we travelled from near and far to Philly to have some food & fun with more of the Fam! Above is Nina-Skye with her Big Cousin Cher!

We had a ball and the food was delicious, Thanks to Top Chef JAMILA! But since we had so much fun, unfortunately I did not take a lot of pictures, but hear is my favorite of the "Littles!" Check them out, they are TOO CUTE 4 WORDS with their Popsicles!!!!!

We drove up to Jersey at an EARLY 4:30 in the morning because we didn't want to be in all of that Memorial Day traffic! So after a wonderful family nap at Deniene's we went to Daddy & Boop's to check in on our folks and hang-out for the day. Above is Nina-Skye with her Grandmom Boop-Boop...they were all chummy as usual!

Thanks Deniene for a great smile! Too bad "Pop-Pop" & Nina-Skye didn't follow suit...I don't know WHAT expression THEY were making...but you can really see that they are related...LOL!

Nina-Skye happy to finally see her Auntie Dee-Dei!

Even after 44 years I'm still a Daddy's Girl! And last but certainly not least...here is Nina-Skye with "Tante Brenda and Oncle Sougue." It was great to see them and they gave Arnold, Nina-Skye and I all gifts that they brought us back from Africa. Nina-Skye can't wait to wear her beautiful little sundress!

Youth Sunday Service & Sunday School with Paul

Since this was the 4th Sunday, that meant it was Youth Sunday @ Pilgrim. Our youth services are great with the Kids doing everything from the prayer, singing, reading the announcements & ushering. In addition, the Church gave awards to ALL of the children who received A's on their last quarter report cards...which is AWESOME for the kids and their proud parents! So what better Youth to join us for Youth Sunday Service than Paul! He and Nina-Skye were Good Little Angels at Church...here they are in Service! It appears as though the following is taking place in the picture below:

Nina-Skye earnestly study's the word to verify Paul's Statement!

UniverSoul Circus Fun w/Our Buddy Paul

This year we invited our Buddy Paul to go to the UniverSoul Circus with us. It was great as usual with great acts, music and laughs. Nina-Skye's Favorite part was the Dancing French Poodles and Paul said his favorite part was the Tigers and Elephants! Here are Paul & Nina-Skye "goofing-it-up" as usual with there animal visors!

Nice souvenir photo they sold for the 1st time: This tiger act was GREAT...and a little scary. Those beautiful BIG cats kept swinging on Dude...lol!

Everybody loves the BIG STINKY Elephants! Ha! Ha! Ha!

After we got back home from the circus and got them ready for bed...we had to administer their treatments before they could go to sleep...here are our two little Hannibal Lecter's...lol!

And since Paul bought over his Cars sleeping bag, Nina-Skye wanted to sleep in her Princess sleeping bag...what a great sleep-over Buddy she is...last time she slept in her bed...lol!

The Mighty Flower Girls

There is a saying, if you don't take care of what God blesses you with then he won't bless you with more! So...Nina-Skye & I spent time "Sprucing-Up" our modest front. It's a great Mommy & Me activity which she looks forward to each year...atleast for now. Hee ! Hee! Hee! We needed to plant new flowers in our Treebox & 2 Flower Pots ! Here's what we had to work with:
