I LOVE LEDISI!
And here is Rhonda as she realizes that she (like me) is SOAKING WET and patiently waiting for Ledisi to start the show.The Stage
Over an hour later than scheduled Ledisi finally hit the stage to perform. The New Orleans born, Oakland, California raised singer gave her usually high-energy performance with flawless vocals. She belted out songs from her second Verve Record Label CD entitled, TURN ME LOOSE! Got the CD & Lovin' it!
So even though we were temporarily miserable due to being soaking-wet, we along with thousands of others received a very entertaining show. This was my third time seeing her in concert and I have yet to be disappointed. I love her personality, energy, humor and most importantly her vocals...which is why she is one of my favorite artist. The Monkeys Of Danyang
Nina-Skye had her second sleep over with her buddy Paul. So Arnold and I took them to the lovely little quaint Classika Theatre in Shirlington Village. There we enjoyed the Children's Play,

It was a Double Decker Tour Bus Kind-of-Day
We began our tour at Union Station and this 2 1/2 hour tour went to 30 different areas/attractions in DC & Virginia such as: National Museum of Natural History, China Town, Ford's Theatre, The White House, Dupont Circle, Washington National Cathedral, Embassey Row, Georgetown, the Lincoln Memorial and Arlington National Cemetery just to name a few!
During the ride we had to duck quite a few tree branches, but hey...that added to the fun...lol!

After our tour I treated the always hungry dude to "FIVE GUYS," downtown...And hence he had another FIRST on this fine day! Afterall...we had to rest our aching feet...
