Our Friend Anissa's Baby Shower

Nina-Skye and I traveled to Herndon, VA to attend our friend Terri's, daughter Anissa's Baby Shower. Anissa is pregnant with her first child. She and husband Ben are expecting their daughter Maya in May...Yay! Here is Nina-Skye all smiles at the Baby Shower...she was under the assumption that we would actually see the baby...lol!Look at that CUTE cake at this wonderful "Sweets" Table! The Cake Baker designed the Cake around Anissa's Nursery design. And yes that is Anissa's Baby Picture on the table. Mommy-To-Be, Anissa cuts her Beautiful cake with her cute adorable little fan club!

Congratulations Anissa & Ben, we wish you all of the blessings with the birth of your little Baby Girl.

Happy 4th Birthday Phillip!

Happy Anniversary Jamila & Sharrod

My Beautiful & Handsome Cousins Jamila & Sharrod hit 95 South and came to town for a Photo Shoot with Arnold. Sharrod brought his wife down to take pictures so he could create a "memento" to help celebrate their FIRST Wedding Anniversary which is next Sunday! He is planning a "Surprise" Anniversary Dinner for Jamila. Way to go Sharrod!!! Ya got mad props for that one Son! LOL! Now say "Cheese!"

Three Amigas & Yosh

Today Lucy's Mom kindly agreeed to host a "Play Date" with Nina-Skye & Diya. She picked-up the three little Amigas from school and they walked to Lucy's house. According her report, FUN was had by all. Here they are before all going home...the picture also included Diya's little brother Yosh!

A WEEK later and...

Well it's been a week since we received our record breaking Snow Storm...and it is STILL a problem. The left-over snow has caused massive traffic delays all week! Due to below normal temps, the snow just isn't melting quickly. Our arrogant Mayor has been riduculed for the way he and DPW are handling the snow clean-up. Instead of clearing all of the lanes & clearing the sides they are waiting for Mother Nature to get rid of it instead. Since a lot of sidewalks are not shoveled people are walking in the streets, which also ties up traffic! Car accidents have reached a dramatic increase as well as pedestrian accidents. Here is a shot I took while sitting in traffic trying to make my way to Nina-Skye's school...
