Deniene, Nina-Skye & I hit the road to visit our cousin Raushanah & her family in "Beautiful" Dunn, NC. A 5 hour drive turned into a 7 1/2 hour drive due to traffic, & pit stops! But "Bless The Lord" we made there safe & sound!

Nina-Skye & I took Arnold to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History for his 41st Birthday. I know to some this may sound uneventful, but we had a GREAT Family Day! Thankfully, we all enjoy hanging together...Hopefully it will be like this until Nina-Skye hits her teenage years and doesn't want to hang with her boring parents anymore...LOL! Anywhooooo...It was a HOT day in the District, but we all didn't suffer TOO bad being out in the heat and using Metro! So here are some of our highlights of our day:

Nina-Skye & I treated our "Super Daddy" WELL for Father's Day with many gifts and dinner at one of his favorite restaurant's "Jordan's 8," and dessert at "Tim's Bulletin!" As you can see Nina-Skye LOVES her Daddy!!!
We "Lucked Out" in that he LOVED all of his Gifts: a Jeff cap, Fossil Sunglasses, Camp Shirt, Burberry Touch Cologne & comfy Bedroom slippers!
We ATE SOOOOOO Much and were all miserable afterwards! But we had a BALL!

LOL...this is her after Field Day at her school...in her words Field Day is when she got to "Play All Day!" That included her playing in DIRT...Ha ha ha! You know what was next...

Arnold's sister Frances came to town for a visit from Dallas and the family was SO Happy to see her! So happy that Frankie, Mom & Charlie hosted a Cook-Out in her honor. Above is Nina-Skye with her Aunt Frances & little new friend from next door, Eva. And here is Arnold with his big Sister...He loves and misses his sister a lot!

There was TONS of fun, family, and delicious food! We had so much fun that we didn't leave until at 11pm that night...even though we had to get up early for church the next day!
Today Nina-Skye began her "Roll With It - Kiddie Tyme" tumbling class at the "Fun & Fit Childrens Fitness Center". So you know if it involves running, jumping & rolling on the floor then she's in heaven! As you can see by the ecstatic look on face that she LOVED every minute of it! And for my old Cheerleading buddies ya'll know I'm loving it as well...
